What are BALLER Camps?

Participation in athletics helps students succeed!


BALLER Camps provide at-risk students with free, week long summer camps that teach teamwork, personal accountability and respect for others, while preparing the students to participate in school-based team sports (an activity that increases students' likelihood to graduate). In addition to gaining athletic skills, participants learn from former student athletes how the the self-motivation and tenacity learned through team sports has helped them to be successful in their college or professional lives.

These week long camps will be held in the summer months. The camps will run monday through friday from 9 AM to 3:30 PM each day. Each camper will be provided with lunch each day, along with a t shirt and basketball courtesy of the camp. There will be no charge for the camp or any of the items.
